Hey there! Let me take you back to where it all started and share my journey of launching this incredible community.
You see, my own fitness transformation began during high school and continued through college. I was all about working out and becoming the best version of myself.
In my early 20s, I became a personal trainer and massage therapist, working with clients at a big chain gym in a suburb just outside of Boston.
Most of my clients were busy professionals trying to squeeze in a workout whenever they could. At first, I couldn't wrap my head around why so many of them struggled with finding time for exercise and not prioritizing their bodies.
But then, I hit my 30s, and everything started to make sense. I realized the majority of us couldn't spend hours working on my body anymore. Life was getting busier.
When I realized the issue people were having I decided to start on Instagram and began posting stretching and self-massage techniques that people really enjoyed and could save them time.
But as the years went by, I noticed a concerning trend. Fitness and health professionals started sharing more and more extreme content just to get views.
Many of the most respected professionals in the health & fitness industry agreed that this approach was doing more harm than good. And that's when it clicked – my program needed to cut through the theatrics and focus on what truly mattered.
I've also been incredibly fortunate to work with some of the best athletes in the world through my work as a sports massage therapist. They've allowed me to observe their daily routines, and I've learned firsthand the secrets to maintaining optimal physical condition. This unique insight has been invaluable in shaping my approach to mobility and flexibility training.
So, here we are today, providing a program that's realistic, effective, and built around the busy lives we all lead. Because at the end of the day, it's about improving our bodies and our lives without the unnecessary extremes.
